To date CANtreat has been involved in projects across the North West and is currently in partnership with four hospital trusts in order to improve their chemotherapy service.
CANtreat aims to put the money raised to its most beneficial use. This means that a lot of time and effort is taken in identifying projects which are suitable and match the aims of the charity with the long term strategy of the hospital trust.
CANtreat has been involved in discussions with Macmillan Cancer Relief and the North Cheshire Hospitals Trust about expanding and improving the treatment facilities at Warrington and Halton Hospitals.
CANtreat has been pleased to provide a new TV for the patients receiving chemotherapy treatment at the Churchill Unit of Bolton Hospital. This was possible thanks to the kind donation CANtreat received from Bolton Wanderers Supporters Association at the BWSA Christmas Party in December.
CANtreat has been involved in various projects at Bolton Royal Hospital. We have already helped in the improvement of the current centre and we intend to be involved in future development of the chemotherapy service in Bolton.
CANtreat is supportive of all the events that raise money and awareness for our cause.
